ELLE CHAPLEAU

Ellen Chapleau, who goes by “Elle”, is CoOwner of BestFit Body LLC. She is a 26 year old, Psychology student, based out of Chicago, IL. Elle, just like her mother (Coach Jules) has had a love for health, fitness and movement for as long as she can remember.

She grew up with 10+ years dancing pointe, jazz and hip hop. When she entered college she made the decision not to dance, to explore and try new things. That new thing ended up to be weight training. She spent hours in the gym her first few years of University and the rest of the hours were kept for working on her blog, www.bestfitbody.com. It was clear from early on, Elle had no interest in studying to finish her Psychology degree. (Flash forward six years & it’s the only thing on her mind!)

Her sophomore year of school, Elle found her love for blogging. She was documenting her journey on her Instagram account (@elle_bfitbody) and gaining an interested following. At the same time her mom, Julie Chapleau was a personal trainer and the big inspiration to enter the fitness world. One day, Jules and Elle decided that their love for fitness and their ability to reach so many people would be an undeniable way to help, educate & inspire men and women to excel in their fitness journey.

Almost 6 years later in 2019, Team BestFit Body is thriving.

Elle is taking a step back from coaching new clients to complete her journey of studying to become a Licensed Psychologist in the state of Illinois.

Elle works closely with her lifestyle and competition clients to transform them into their absolute best. She focuses on the mental and emotional side of fitness when she works one on one with team members.

Not only does Elle have a love for training hard, challenging the mind & inspiring other women, she also has a love for competition. She began training for her first competition in the bikini category in 2014. Since then, she’s been hooked. She has accomplished a lot so far in the sport and is excited to take it to the next level to earn her IFBB Pro Card.
